The piston moves back and forth inside the cylinder, changing the volume of the compression chamber and compressing the air sucked in. There are also oil-filled types that use oil in the compression process, and oil-free types that do not use oil, and those that use special resin pistons. It is a reasonable model with a simple piston type structure.

Features
